From Lost to Light 🔆
There is a specific painful moment in each of our lives where we feel that life has passed by without us. Almost like dread and despair are the baseline now.
And once that is present, you remember all the situations that caused you loss, betrayal and failure.
The mind goes to all the people who didn’t support you, who doubted you, who made you feel bad, or even worse than you're already feeling.
You keep asking; what am I doing with my life? Who am I?
Why is this happening to me? Why is everyone now ahead except for me?
And this stupid lingering existential crisis won’t just leave. It is a pain residing in your chest, with every breath.
For the longest time, you felt like your whole life was stuck in draft mode.
Dreaming big, starting big with excitement, and finishing small, if you ever finished anything.
Collecting ideas was a passion. Addicted to inspiration, pins, bookmarks, articles to read later, hundreds of notes, and quotes, all stacked and saved for "The Day".
And you knew that …  it broke you slowly.
Ideas were the fire in your world, and with time they started to dim down.
Not because you weren't trying, oh, you tried everything. I know.
Starting businesses, projects, working full time jobs, participating in competitions, taking courses, and workbooks, diets, reading books, and following routines.
Anything to make you feel in control, at least for a while, but then after a while the same question comes back:
"What am I doing with my life?" "Why does nothing work for me?"
And the same worst part .. the little voice in your head saying:
"You should’ve figured it out by now."
“Look at all of those people who did it”
"It's too late for you."
"Why can’t you just be normal?"
Life looks so easy for others, but not you, why?
